<strong>Frosting:</strong><br />
1 stick butter<br />
1 8oz. cream cheese<br />
2 tsp. vanilla<br />
2 cups powdered sugar</p>
<p><strong>Bars:</strong><br />
1 2/3 cups sugar<br />
15 oz. can pumpkin, plain<br />
1 cup oil<br />
3 eggs</p>
<p>dry ingred.:<br />
2 cups flour<br />
2 tsp baking powder<br />
2 tsp. cinnamon<br />
1 tsp. baking soda<br />
1 tsp. salt</p>
<p>instruction:<br />
<strong>Frosting:</strong><br />
Cream together until fluffy.</p>
<p><strong>Bars:</strong><br />
Cream together the sugar, pumpkin, and oil. Add the eggs, one at a time to mix.  Sift dry ingredients, then add to pumpkin mix.  Bake in sprayed pan at 350 for 30 min.  Let cool, then cut into bars.  Frost each one individually.</p>

<p>Instruction:<br />
Crush crackers; add fruits, nuts, and coconut.  Melt marshmallows in milk over low heat and add to cracker mixture.  Mix well and pack into 2 loaf pans that have been lined with waxed paper.  Store in refrigerator.  Yield:  Two 3 lb cakes.</p>

1/2 cup shortening<br />

confectioners sugar</p>
<p>Instruction:<br />
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.  Blend shortening, sugar &#038; egg together.  Add flour in 3 portions, beating well after each addition.  Stir in dates &#038; nuts.</p>
<p>Bake on sprayed or lightly greased cookie sheet in moderate oven 325 degrees about 30 minutes.  Cool, cut into 1 inch squares, roll in confectioners sugar.  Makes about 4 dozen squares.</p>

1 1/2 stick of butter<br />
1 tsp. vanilla<br />
1 cup unsifted flour<br />
2 cups pecan pieces<br />
1/2# each of candied cherries &#038; candied pineapple</p>
<p>Instruction:<br />
Mix eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla, then mix all wet &#038; flour together.  Grease pan with butter.  Place broken pecan pieces in bottom of pan, pour mixture over pecans.  Lay cut fruit on top, lightly pressing down.  Bake in preheated oven on 300 degrees for 1 hour.  Cool completely before cutting.  Store in tightly covered container.</p>
