Divinity Candy

Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup white karo syrup

Cook these until they thread.
Don’t stir while cooking.

Instruction:
Beat 2 egg whites until stiff and pour cooked syrup over egg whites. Fold in, drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper. Put a nutmeat in center. Package for gift giving. Dated 12/18/1947.
