Potato – Cabbage Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb potatoes sliced
1/3 cup chopped onion
2 tsp butter or margarine
8 cups shredded cabbage
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 cup soft bread crumbs
2 tsp butter or margarine, melted
Instructions:
Cook potatoes until tender; drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan cook onions in the butter until tender. Add cabbage; cover and cook about 5 mins. Stir in soup, milk, cheese and seasonings. Cook until cheese melts. Carefully stir in potatoes.
Spoon potato mixure into a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish. Combine bread crumbs and melted butter and top. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes.
