Cheesy Chicken Casserole
Ingredients:
1 ¾ cups cubed cooked chicken (about a pound)
½ cup shredded medium cheddar cheese
1 8oz can crescent dinner rolls
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup whole milk
Instruction:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine chicken and 2 GENEROUS Tbsp cheese in a medium bowl. Set aside.
Seperate crescent rolls into 8 triangles on a cookie sheet (stretch them out a bit). Put chicken mixture onto dough and roll up (kind of like a burrito). Put dough balls into a 7×11 baking dish.
In a saucepan, combine soup, milk, and the remainder of the cheese. Heat until the cheese melts. Pour over dough balls in dish. Bake 30-35 min until golden brown.
Variations:
I usually add more cheese to the recipe than it calls for – delicious!
