Easy & Excellent Chocolate Cake
Preheat oven to 350f.
In double boiler melt:
1 stick of butter
4 squares of unsweetened baking chocolate.
Sift together:
2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
Mix together:
1 cup of milk
4 eggs
2 t vanilla
After chocolate & butter are melted mix in 2 cups sugar
Add milk & egg mixture alternately with the flour baking powder mixture
to the chocolate & sugar. Beat well untill blended. Pour into 2, 9 inch
round or square pans & bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick
comes out mostly clean when inserted.
De-pan onto cooling racks immediately & allow to cool completely before frosting as desired.
