Cherry Bars

Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
3 cups Flour
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 can Cherry Pie Filling

Directions:
Cream together butter, eggs, and sugar. Sift together:
flour, salt, baking powder and vanilla. Mix well into
batter. Put 2/3 of the batter in bottom of greased
jelly roll pan. Spread 1 can cherry pie filling (or
other flavor) over top. Drop remaining batter over
top. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350F degrees.
