Mondays suck! I came down with an alergy reaction to dust on Friday that has now turned into a full fledged cold. How wonderful it was to spend my mothers day in bed trying to find a way to sleep without drowning in my own sinus fluids. A whole weekend ruined… and no sleep to boot.

I had to literally drag myself out of bed this morning to come into work. Spent most of the night sweating my ass off, tossing and turning, and going from hot to cold and back again within seconds of each other.

To top it all off, today I have to pack up the supply cabinet at work and you know what that means? More friggen dust and that is what caused all this in the first place!

Friday evening I did get some work done… the boys (mine and one of his buddies) and I moved all my stuff from the office to home. That is where all the dust came from and it was only 2 hours after that I got a scratchy throat and half my head felt like it would explode. I must be highly alergic to dust mites… because that is the only thing that comes to mind that makes any sense.

There is always the option to wear a mask…..sure helps me with my allergies. Most always keep one in the glove compartment of my car…..and they work too when one must go amongst the sick at the doctors office. My opinion is that one must guard against the things that do make us sick….even if ya think it looks silly.
