Today is a day to remember a special man, Paul Newman. Gone at the young age of 83.
Who could forget Cool Hand Luke, Hud, and one of my favorites: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. He had the most startling blue eyes that melted the heats of a nation of women and a smile that made the whole world light up.
Rest in Peace, Paul. You will be missed.

Yes and beyond the acting there were so many other aspects. Charity worker, director, car racer, activist – er sauce maker. Remarkable man who bridged from the glitter years of Hollywood through to the present day.
I remember seeing Cool-Hand Luke when I was in high school. He was a great one! And that Sock-a-rooni Newman’s sauce is delish!
Via Michele!
He was gorgeous, inside and out. RIP beautiful!
He certainly was one of the best actors we have ever had.
Michele sent me.
Cool Hand Luke was a great movie. I honestly can’t say I saw Newman in much else, but his philanthropic smile was appreciated every time I went to the grocery store.
