Friends and Family,
Thank you for making my day extra special. It started with early wishes and ended with a birthday dinner. My day was more special with each of you in it some way or another. I got smiles from cards, smiles from simple birthday e-mails, from a boss that said we were 3 birthdays behind and it would have to wait, to flowers and time away from the house pest. Dinner was Mexican and the hubby hates it, but he suffered it for me.
Even the pest remembered and bought me a beautiful 6-headed dragon incense burner and incense to burn in it. (The smoke rises from the heads and I love it!) He was the only one to actually get me something and it was a nice surprise. The kid, so far, has forgotten to give me hugs and wishes… but it is to be expected, since I am not his favorite person right now.
Thanks to all of you for making # 52 so special. I will keep the memories with me always.

Copier Guy,
You are the senior sales manager for our area and since taking over the position, you have “supposedly” researched our company extensively to score a new sale. You did not do your job very well if you had to ask us “which copier needs repair? The 1035 or the 1045?” Ummm, wtf?
I was very proud of my snarky response to your inquiry today and patted myself several times during the day. Re: “Ummm, we only have one copier and the other is a fax machine… the 1035. BTW - if this was a test for more business from us, you failed miserably.”
Snarkily,
Me

Mexican Restaurant Server,
Next time you bring silverware to the table, please make sure the tableware is clean. It can really ruin ones appetite to see someone else’s food leftovers on the fork…
Just sayin’…
Not so sincerly,

Happy Birthday
but why are you telling us your bust size is 52 ?
I hate dirty utensels when I am at a restaurant.
You figure it costs so much to eat in a place today at least there could do their best not to poison you before the food arrives.
I am so happy that your birthday turned out great. Of course, with exception of dirty silver….kudo’s to dh for suffering some for you….bout time!!
Happy birthday W! Glad to hear it went well. The incense burner sounds cool. Go get em’ for another year. I wish you health, prosperity and happieness.

How gross is that to have left over food on the tableware. Gross!
