Thirteen Reasons Why I am a Tom(girl)
1. I am not quite a tomboy and not nearly a girly girl.
2. I hardly ever played with dolls.
3. I found that toys for boys could be much more interesting.
4. I loved to climb trees as a kid.
5. I preferred bare feet over wearing shoes and still do.
6. I would rather hike a trail or fish than go to a dressy party.
7. I prefer t-shirt and jeans over a dress any day.
8. I won’t bait a hook or pull a fish off that same hook, or cut it’s head off, but I don’t mind the rest of the cleaning of said fish.
9. I am not talkative enough to be a girly girl… I find it hard to talk “small” talk.
10. I would rather be out riding horses with no makeup than go shopping for said makeup.
11. I only wear the minimum amount of makeup to get by on… mascara and blush is enough.
12. I would rather shop for someone else than myself. Clothes shopping for myself is too depressing.
13. I am all woman, am deeply passionate and I find both sexes to be incredibly alluring, each in their own ways. I am both visual and mental when it comes to making love – where most women are aroused mentally and most men are aroused visually.

I’m a mix of a girlie-girl and a tomboy too. A friend of mine in college once guessed that I was the only girl in a family full of boys because of that combination.
Fascinating list!
I try to avoid wearing makeup, myself javascript:moreSmiliesAappendSmiley(‘’)
A pox on make-up!
Hehe, enjoyed the list, people get too uptight about looks and stuff.
My TT is at Yearning Mice on Fire.
Nice list, makes me consider what makes me girly.
Happy Thursday, my list is up too.
i don’t like wearing makeup either, and do not realy like to shop. we would get along.
Over the years, I dated a couple of women (briefly) who did their make-up ala Tammy Faye Bakker…it was like kissing a greasy plate and not knowing what lurked beneath all the paint…ack
I would say that it doesn’t really matter what group you fit into more as long as you are comfortable with who you are. I have been privileged enough to be Phoenix’s friend for more than five years, now, and I am continually surprised by her.
Was that toys for boys or…..boy toys?
Ditto on what Carlo said, just be you and be happy with yourself. Has it really been over 5 years? My time does fly.
I think I’m a mix, too. I LOVE sports. I LOVE hockey. I LOVE the 49ers…STOP laughing, people.
But I also love lingerie and bubble baths and candles and…um…what were we talking about?
