I got to thinking (I know, a dangerous thing) the other day about things and sayings that my son has never heard or seen. He is 14 and quite hip on somethings, such as rock-n-roll and older movies, but there is much that if I say them he gives me that odd “Huh? Whachu talknbout Willis!?!” (Note: this saying is one of those items) look.
I know we have all seen those e-mails, that have circulated a hundred times over, that list all the regular things that a child of the 90′s have missed. (Whew, run-on sentence breath) My thoughts are on the odd things that are not on those e-mails. I am going to make a list of things that come to mind, then invite you to add to the list. All new additions from commenters will be given linkage love and their responses added to the list.
I know I need some good old fashioned giggle time and I bet you can too! Show me the love!

When the Brady movies came out and they made fun of Marsha through a same-sex diversion, I showed the sitcom to my daughter.
She LOVES the sitcom and goes about saying “Marsha!Marsha!Marsha!” sometimes. She’s 15.

They may still be on, but with more than a few channels devoted to nothing but cartoons 24/7, it’s not the same. I remember waking up on Saturdays early and camping out in front of the TV all morning… Now? They’re on all the time….
