I just can’t seem to find my blog muse these days so this is going to be a bunch of random thoughts that are floating in my way too over worked brain that needs more than 3 days off.
Carlo is alive and well but has been given extra work to do and that has taken from his communicating with those of us at home time. He says hi.
I received an update about Raven but it came to my work mail late and I didn’t even think to send it to my home e-mail. I will post it tomorrow.
Our mail server went down today and I am so far behind in my invoicing that I am seriously thinking about going in tonight to catch up. Someone kick me please.
The boss is out of town until Thursday. This company still has a lack of trust when it comes to me and I can’t figure it out. If I was given some trust and a password to the server I could have avoided several hours of our down time today. I just don’t get it.
My helper told me today this will more than likely be his last week with us. OY Vei… I can’t even get in a dang vacation first. Top it off with him getting run over by his own car on Saturday and I guess I can count myself lucky he was alive to show up today. Good with the bad I guess.
I am getting really peeved with the friggin s*p*a*m*m*e*r*s. Since I went to my own site I have been hit with somewhere around 2300 s*p*a*m*s. That is more than my posts and comments combined. Sheesh I wish these people would get a life and leave us alone!!!
Speaking of peeves… the new blogger has been blocking me from commenting. It majorly sucks a big green one.
My WH is so pessimistic and angry about life in general that it pretty much ruined my holidays. I heard it every day during x-mas and NY’s. If he wasn’t bitching about someone then he was bitching at one of us about something we did or didn’t do. I have soooooo had enough that I am just about ready to put it all out there and leave. My better sense tells me that my youngin is not ready to have a split home… besides I need to be better off financially. Sigh…
I got this in the mail… it was one of the few things that made me laugh the last few days.
A teacher asked her class, What do you want out of life?”
A little girl in the back row raised her hand and said, “All I want out of life is four little animals.”
The teacher asked, “Really and what four little animals would that be sugar?”
The little girl said, “A mink on my back, a jaguar in the garage, a tiger in the bed and of course, and I’ll need a jackass to pay for all of it.”
The teacher fainted
PS: Need to ask you a question. Say you have a house guest and this person isn’t helping with any bills in the house, but due to his circumstances that is not anything he can help at the moment. Say this house guest was checking the mail… your mail everyday. Would you feel that was over stepping the “house guest” boundaries? He is getting his government relief mail here but I still feel violated of sorts when he is getting to OUR mail first. What do you think?
Update: Since the question has been asked a few times… it is the snail mail he is getting to first. So far he has respected the other boundaries. I do need instructions though on how to set the PC to specific users… anyone?

Glad to hear Carlo is alive and well, wish him the best!
The mail – I wouldn’t like it nary a bit. The least he could do is wait for you to go through yours and then give him his. But that’s just me.
If he’s a really close relative, guess that might be different. hmmmm
Sorry to hear your helper is leaving – that’s theh pits!!
Let him check his online……not on your email program……or set up another email program for him….like Eudora. I sense he has his own email address??? YES?? Tell him that your email is off limits.
Happy New Year!
Hands you sock to stuff in the mouth of the one who is complaining…
YES your house guest is out of bounds big time…
TELL HG to respect your privacy NOW or I will come over there….
Did you miss me like I missed you?
Extra hugs for you!
Have a wonderful day!

OK, do you mean snail mail or e-mail? If it’s email, then you need to set up a separate user account on Windows and password protect yours so he cannot get into it. That would keep him out of e-mail. As for snail mail, he is so far out of bounds, that I would boot the blighter out, but I’m a bit more abrasive than you are.
Snail mail: he’s a houseguest, not co-owner. ‘Nuff said there.
To the rest I merely say Happy New Year, and hope it’s a good ‘un for ya.
He’s not OPENING your snail mail, is he? I guess I’m in the minority, but as long as it isn’t being opened, I couldn’t care less who brings it into the house.
As far as spam goes, I’d like to know who actually responds to it and buys from these people, thus encouraging them to continue. Anyone who buys from a spammer should be summarily executed.
Finally, anyone who gets run over by his own car wouldn’t be missed in MY office…….
This is why God made tents… it ain’t THAT cold, is it?
