It never fails – this time of the year… during the x-mas break I get a cold of some kind. This one has been coming and going for weeks now. Ugh!!! Ya know that Nyquil commercial? That’s been me the last two days.

A legend has died and I for one am saddened by it. For all his shortcomings with the law and drugs; he had a good heart. He was always giving to the needy – right up and just days before he died. His music was upbeat and almost ahead of his time. Many copied his style. He made us all feel funky and not many could sit still when he was singing. Who can forget “OWWW, I feel good… nana nana nana na” :) Rest in Peace James.

Time to “Get up offa this thing” and hit the sack… Ya’ll have a good one ya hear?

I got sick just before christmas. Finally got better on Christmas and had a great one.

  2. I’m fighting a sore throat right now. Please get well.

  3. I had a cold last week also…. Nyquil did nothing. Thera-Flu knocked it right out of the park. Give that a go.

Take care of you and hope that cold goes away soon.

For one, I rely on “Ocillo”, can be had at Wal-Mart for $9.99. Health food stores cost more. But since I know your cold/flu is more bronchial, some of the new Alka-Seltzers work with body pain and upper-resp. infections.
Try the Ocillo too, as it works for me when I feel something coming on.

  6. Yep, bugs are going around at work and elsewhere right now. Already had my bout three weeks ago; get yourself healthy for the New Year and have a great ’07!

So sorry you’re not feeling well! Listen to your mama up, and get well soon!

I was shocked when I learned of the death – indeed he was/is a legend.

yea babe I got sick over three weeks ago and still have a cough and a little chest congestion. It has hit just about everybody I know down my way. The bug going around here seems to start in the upper respritory and work its way down to the chest and just linger on. Hope you get well soon. Wishing you the best!
