That is exactly what the last week has been… just tons of stuff happening. Let’s see…
Work has been nuts with invoicing and settling all the fires being short product can cause. I have had to rearrange orders, set others back a week, transfer loads from warehouse to warehouse and I have done tons of praying that they will arrive as scheduled. That hasn’t happened much but one can always hope right?
After the employee changes we had to get ready for the new person coming in. I like him. He is personable and quick with a smile… nice for a change!
Then we had the Co. Christmas party Monday evening. It got kinda spoiled when 1 employee had to rush home… boy that is a post all in itself… and I will tell it tomorrow! The food was great – combo Greek and Italian foods. I brought home not 1, not two but 3! boxes of just my leftovers and desert! 1 more box was the appetizers that were left. 4 in all – the family thought I brought home the restaurant! heh…
Today was the fun gift exchange… it works like this… we spend 10.00ish dollars on a non-gender specific gift and then we all pick numbers. Person 1 picks a gift and opens it. Person 2 can “steal” that gift or pick one of their own. So it goes to the last person. A gift can only be stolen twice and then it is dead. Number one person has one last chance to “steal” a gift… if it is not “dead”. We had desert and drinks and bunches of thieves!!
I am waiting to hear if my mom and dad can come up for the holidays. They won’t know for sure until Thursday. Saturday I have to travel to south GA for a hubby family get together… then Sunday up to north GA to see those folks. The tree for our house went up last night but everyone was too bushed to finish it. Tomorrow perhaps.
Confession time. I can’t finish the cookbook before x-mas. I tried… really I did… but I guess I bit off more than I could chew. Thats OK though… more time to finish and get it right. Next year be on the lookout for it’s debut 
It was suggested to me on several occasions to move my book to this blog and make it more secure and private. I want to do that but my pea-sized brain cannot grasp how to add it to WP. I will hopefully figure it out and get it done.
How has your week gone?
There’s a plugin called post levels, you can have folks who want to read your book register, then you change their access level in your admin panel, and when you publish more secure posts you can just change the post level.
It is crazy busy here too.
Getting the book done at the beginning of next year is a great idea, what better way to start a year anyhow?!?!?

Dad & I will know tomorrow if we are coming up, and exactly when.
The cookbook can wait a few weeks…enjoy the time off from it. Maybe I can come and help load more recipes.
