Much to be thankful for

We all have so much to be thankful for, and for some, like me, we tend to forget to give thanks during the rest of the year. Some tend to be sad at this time of the year because they might be missing family or friends. Others tend to look at it as the day before the big sales start. For myself, this year especially, I am giving my thanks daily for many things:

-I woke up another day to see the sun rise
-Another day to smell the crisp air and see the wonders of our maker
-I live in a free country and can voice my opinion because of those that sacrifice for that right
-Another day that Carlo is alive and well serving our country
-My son (enuf said)
-Raven is another day closer to recovery
-My health when so many others suffer
-My family when so many are without
-My friends when so many have lost touch with theirs
-I have a job when many don’t

I could go on and on but these are the most important ones to me.

On this week and day of giving thanks – remember to send yours skyward every now and then. Be well and safe and I will see you on the other side of the holiday. Remember – you are loved!
