It started Friday when I had to take the kid to school after being suspended from the bus. Then at lunch I had to buy a new tire… as the pasenger front had 2 nails in it. Then I had to run by the dealer to get my tag papers. Went back to work and had to leave 1.5 hours later to get the kid from school and then get my tag. Friday night I just relaxed.
Saturday was the kids football game. They kicked patootie! 49-0 and they are now in second place in their league. Next weekend is the home coming dance. He is growing up too fast! The day was not done as we then had to head home fast and get ready for my gransons 1st birthday party. It has been a year already! We got home late… and called it a day.
Today was running around doing errands and relaxing some. I got an emergency kit for the car and a tub to keep everything in. I also splurged on a stadium seat for the games… sitting in football stands is killing my back. I also bought a fold out chair for his practice games and got him a thermal shirt to wear under his uniform.
It is late and I am ready to call it a weekend. Grabbing a movie and crawling under the covers to snuggle with my teddy bear (blush) and snooze. How was your weekend?
That made me tired……whew. Guess I’ll go back to bed.
Sounds about like mine with the exception that I had to deal with 13-16 yr old almost women. It’s amazing how nasty girls can be with each other. I just don’t understand it. My daughter had a volleyball tourney on Sat. Started at 8am and got home at 4pm, then the homecomeing football game and dance afterwards. I felt like a carpool driver. The last pick up and drop off of 5 kids was at 10pm. Now I know how my Mom felt, trucking everyone all over. FUN FUN!
Sounds familiar. After Friday’s excitement we already had little brother’s b’day party planned. Then Sunday…well you know all that stuff you gotta do to get ready for Monday. Whew! I’m with momcarver, I need to lay down.

Polished off an 1800 word thesis paper about Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rope”, just in time to get some sleep and go to work Monday AM. Am I having fun yet?
