When it rains – it pours.

I need to ask a favor again. I need to put out a prayer request.

My grandniece? has been found to have a malignant tumor in her throat. The night my niece got out of jail (last Friday) she ended up having to spend it in the ER with her step-daughter and granddaughter, Raven. She was rushed there because her throat was swollen and she could not breathe. This sweet baby girl is only 7 years old.

The doctors believe she has had it almost from birth. They have her in an induced coma and are going to operate once some more tests can be done. They are hoping it is a solid mass and not a soft mass for easier removal and less chance for it to have spread.

We have not heard anymore and I will update as the news comes in to me.

~On another note: As I said the niece is out of Jail… but her hubby has been moved to another county in South GA. Keep in mind that they live in the foothills of the GA mountains and way north of us by an hours driving time. The only reason we were given is the jail was over crowded. We are all of the like opinion that this is a crock and it is another way to keep the two apart. If the bail had not been posted for the niece when it was… they were going to move her to another, totally different, county jail. Makes you wonder eh?

As far as we know he still has not been read his rights, phone numbers are still blocked and he has yet to see his lawyer.

Sigh… when does the madness end?

Prayers for your grandniece and the whole family. Does he have a lawyer? Why hasn\’t the lawyer demanded to see him? I\’ve seen people with huge felonies walk because of such technocalities…used to work for the D.A. in California.

Have you heard from your friend, Carlo? Do they still fly into Kuwait first?

Public defenders don\’t seem to much care if they see their clients or not. I don\’t even think he was there for the bond hearing. We were more worried about getting his wife out of jail and spent the big bucks on her lawyer. He is expensive but the best in the biz \’round these hyar parts (as skunk would say it). ;)
