Between babysitting, football and trying to recover from this summer cold… it was quite a busy weekend. I did manage however to add some more recipes to the WOB Cookbook, so you need to go over and check them out! There are some yummy ones! I will have to get busy and get the submissions for the dedication page up so they can be voted on. There is still time to get yours in btw! The more the better!
The youngin went for team pictures on Saturday morning and then they caravan’d over to another school for practice scrimmages. The youngins team kicked patooties! He also got quite a bit of play time in. He is finally getting that he has to really tackle these players to get the job done. I am very proud of him.
Sunday we had to help the step-daughter move some stuff as she has bought a new house. It is being built still, but they close on the one they are in now on the 11th. Their new house will not be ready until the end of this next month. They are having to put everything into a pod and will be living with her mother for a few weeks. I spent yesterday babysitting the youngest while they made trips to a storage area. He was a handfull and not even walking yet! I was quite worn out by the time we got home.
Time grows nearer for my best friend to deploy. I hope to have the PO Box by Wednesday and I will have a page done just for sending packages by that evening. I want to thank all those who have volunteered to contribute to his unit. You have humbled me by your generosity. I love you all.
