Last week I wrote about watery eyes while watching my sons scrimmage. It wasn’t just allergies. Today I am home sick instead of with him watching his scrimmage against another school. Today is also team picture day. Sigh… I would have gone if I didn’t feel like I was coughing up a lung every 5 minutes or so.
Bronchitus used to hit me twice a year like clockwork as a kid. Then it went away… or so I thought. LOL I am also sporting quite a handsome bump on the top of my noggin. In a fit of anger yesterday at work (when sick I have very little patience) I threw some snacks (long story) into the trash bin. I missed, bent down to pick them up and came up into the door jam. HARD. That will teach me won’t it! LMAO I can laugh now because I can see how silly it all was; but at the time it wasn’t so funny.
Now if I could just stop the fevers… and coughing up lungs, I would be like myself again.
Is it starve a cold; feed a fever or the other way around?

The semitough cold remedy is to drink brown whiskey until you pass out. Doesn’t do anything for the symptoms, but at a certain point you quit caring.
