Remembrance

I would like to take this time to remember those in my family who are now gone from us, but never forgotten. They proudly served this country of ours in times of war. God bless all of those who have served or are serving now. We owe you our gratitude and thanks.

Warren Douglas Drew (Uncle Bud) – Born 1927, Died 1987
US Navy, WWII – Kodiak Island, Alaska

Morris Stanley Drew (Uncle Stan) – Born 1929, Died 1993
US Navy, WWII – Germany during Berlin Airlift

Richard Marlowe Drew (Uncle Richard) – Born 1941, Died 1994
US Navy, US Naval Band and Entertainer

James Michael Drew (Uncle Jim) – Born 1945, Died 2003
US Army, Korean War, Germany

These men were my uncles on the maternal side of my family. They were my support system growing up and my dads as well, in their own way. My grandmother had 8 children; 4 boys and 4 girls. They each had something to teach me and I hope I learned my lessons well from them. I miss each and every one of them and I am proud to call them my family.

Blessings and have a safe holiday.
