Busy Weekend

Went to Tupelo, MS to see a very dear friend of mine and her new hubby, whom I had met once a year or so ago. They are here visiting from Australia, where he moved to be with the love of his life. I was supposed to be the Maid of Honor at their wedding, but since I could not go there, they brought a video of it to me while they are here in the states. Love these two people dearly. They met online on Yahoo’s old Trivia game site (which no longer exists). There was a point where they were admiting to me their feelings for each other, but not to the object of their affections. At one point they were about to call it quits… only I knew that they loved each other.

I made one last plea to them to speak to the other of their affections. They finally listened and now they are a happily married couple and I couldn’t be happier for them! They are here for the holidays, and this past weekend was the only time I had to finally meet her and see him again. It was a wonderful time, just not long enough. We did a little sight seeing, as you will notice in the pictures below. Went to Evlis’ Birthplace and Museum and the Antique Car Museum. When the time came to say our goodbyes… well, you know us gals… we got weepy eyed. Hopefully someday we will meet again… maybe there. You never know! Love you Janniepoo and Richie, very muches!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Hugsssssss!!
