What day of the week is it? HOLY CRAP! It’s only TUESDAY?!? You’d think, with all the goings on so far this week, it would at least be Thursday… Oh, well. I’m always messed up after I have duty, and it takes me a couple of days to get back into the groove.
Anyway, most of my unit is on leave. That’s not the problem. The problem is that I’m the senior guy here, AND I was asleep yesterday because I had duty Sunday, Sunday night until Monday at 9 AM. Welcome back, you are in charge, sort of…
The sort of comes from all of the stuff that I have no clue about, but the higher HQs is asking about, so I have to ask whoever is handy what they are talking about. Yeah, THAT’s a lot of fun. Then, of course, we have all the stuff that has to get done by Friday. That’s not a big deal, but higher knew about it last week, we find out today…
Bah, or to quote a friend of mine, “PFAUGH!†Bureaucracy is bureaucracy, no matter how you slice it. But, the good news is that the day went very quickly, and I like that. When I am busy, the day goes by. When I’m not, it D R A G S.
What am I griping about, I have my health, food, clothing shelter, I’m near my son, I get along (sort of) with my ex… I’ve got it going on.
