Moments that made me smile yesterday:
1) Driving straight to work in a nice quiet car… windows open, feeling the fresh air on my skin.
2) Seeing all the happy faces at work… couldn’t help but grin back at them.
3) Spending 5 hours at same said job, with no food brokers yelling in my ear.
4) Closing same said office at 1pm for an extended holiday weekend.
5) Taking my son to pick out a PS2 game of his choice.
6) Picking up 2 more, cheaper games for the two of us to play together.
7) Seeing the excitement on his face at his “score” of 3 new games. (he traded 3 others in lol)
After 2.5 hours at the DMV, finally walking out with new tag (wildlife conservation tag), transferred title (in my name), Ad Valorum taxes paid on old car, a trailer tag all for under 100.00, and my son never complained having to do all that with me.
9) Telling my son that since he was such a wonderful kid I would take him to the movies.
10) Giving up watching “War of the Worlds” to sit with the wonderful kid to watch “Herbie, Fully Loaded” and walking out of the theater glad I did.
11) Winning 10,000 fake bux playing poker on pokerstars.com from idiots that kept trying to “buy” the pots.
12) Playing the new PS2 games with the youngin for 2 hours until he got tired.
13) Realizing that I made it through a whole entire day without WH bitching at me about something.
14) Spending my last waking moments talking on the phone with my best friend, listening, laughing and smiling more than I have in a long time.
15) Falling asleep with same smile etched on my face from one great day.
Thanks for a bunch of small things that I needed…. the rest will find a way.
