This Weeks Story by Phoenix

It was a dark and stormy night and a flash of lightning had just awakened me right outside the window. He was sleeping soundly but I could not fall back asleep, no matter how hard I tried. Storms are not my favorite thing in this universe and I can’t remember a time when I have not been afraid of them. He must have sensed my fear. Maybe it was the fact that the more it thundered, the closer I moved towards the safe haven of his body. He reached over and pulled me in closer with a reassuring kiss on my cheek. Looking up into his eyes, I knew I was safe and started to relax.

He has always known how to make my fears and worries go away. A sixth sense maybe. He knows me inside and out… every dark crevice in my mind and on my body. For this and many more things, my love grows for him with each passing moment.

His hands start to roam and I let them. The storm is becoming stronger and with it so does our passion. My moans are drowned out with each clash of lightning. As the storm heightens, so does our lovemaking. We are meshed with the storm and each other. Nothing else exists. It seems surreal and dance-like. The music of the storm and the dance of our love crescendos at the same time, only this time my screams of pleasure drown out the storm.

As the storm subsides and slows, so do the beatings of our hearts. Entwined in each other’s arms, we fall asleep to the gentle pitter-patter of the rain on the roof. Safe, secure and happy with the man I love.

I wake in the morning and find he was never there. Was it a dream or was it just me fantasizing? I don’t know. But I do know that when he finally comes to me, the fantasy will be reality.
